sörzero
The world’s first tea-based non-alcoholic beer.
Scientifically brewed in Sydney, Australia.
Assam Ale like no other.
sörzero exudes a rich amber hue with a distinct malty flavour that is infused with hints of Assam tea's robust character, hops, and citrus notes.
By the way, sör (/sœɾ or shewr/) is how our Hungarian mates say beer.

While other non-alcoholic beers are typically <0.5% ABV, sörzero is the one of the only non-alcoholic beers in the world to achieve 0.00% ABV.
Leaning on our team's expertise in chemistry, we developed a science-backed brewing process that uses food chemistry instead of fermentation.

By using our science-backed brewing method, we brew sörzero using 3x less energy than regular beers.
By choosing sörzero, you’re choosing a brew that is saving significant amounts of energy and water. This is one brew that's better for you, and won't harm the planet 🌱

We started with a simple question: why do non-alcoholic brews still contain <0.5% ABV?
With our team's background in science, we realised that this was actually a process problem. Typically, non-alcoholic beers are brewed just like a regular beer, with extra steps to either halt fermentation or remove all of the alcohol at the end, resulting in <0.5% ABV. While a <0.5% ABV definitely won't be getting you buzzed, this is not an acceptable amount to many of those who avoid alcohol. Additionally, studies have shown that these brews may still contain byproducts of fermentation.
